Here we go: my top 3 favourite dairy-free, vegan-friendly, plant-based, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free salad dressings that will make you want to eat more salads kinda salad dressings! All recipes have been slightly tweaked from their original, found in the book Discover the Power of Food, by Janet Jacks. Feel free to play around with these to make them your own too!
1. THE BASIL BLISS
1 CUP OLIVE OIL
1 FULL LEMON, JUICED
1 CLOVE GARLIC
HANDFUL OF FRESH BASIL LEAVES
PINCH OF SEA SALT
*BLEND ALL INGREDIENTS IN A BLENDER FOR 30 SECONDS
2. SWEET + TANGY
1/4 CUP OLIVE OIL
¼ CUP RED WINE VINEGAR
2-3 TBSP APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
1 TBSP MAPLE SYRUP
1 CLOVE GARLIC
2 TBSP DRIED ONION FLAKES OR ONION POWDER
PINCH OF SEA SALT
*SHAKE IN A CLOSED JAR OR BLEND IN A BLENDER
3. CREAMY POPPYSEED ONION DRESSING
3/4 CUP EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
1 1/2 TBSP POPPY SEEDS
1/3 CUP APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
2 TBSP CHOPPED WHITE ONION
1 TSP MUSTARD POWDER
1 TSP HERBAMERE(SEA SALT)
2 TBSP MAPLE SYRUP
*FOR CREAMIEST RESULTS, BLEND IN A BLENDER FOR 30 SECONDS-1 MINUTE, STOPPING TO STIR
