WHAT I THINK ABOUT INTERMITTENT FASTING (AND HOW I PRACTICE INTUITIVE EATING)

Long before I heard of the concept of intermittent fasting, around 2 years ago, I started to skip breakfast. I wasn’t trying to lose weight, or follow any sort of plan, but I found that I genuinely wasn’t hungry in the mornings, and instead, I would drink a cup of warm water plus lemon juice(this tends to kick start our digestion), followed by a coffee or tea. Some mornings, I would even have enough energy for a workout at the gym or a 40 minute yoga flow before having my breakfast. REFINED SUGAR-FREE PUMPKIN SPICE MUFFINS

This week, fellow Holistic Nutritionist-to-be and current Healthy By Marjan co-op student shared the best recipe with me, and now I'm so excited to share it with all of you! Hey Marjan, Please find the recipe for my favourite pumpkin spice muffins attached as well as some photos of the finished product. I used pumpkin seeds, pumpkin, eggs, avocado oil and cinnamon so you know its a healthy treat that also stabilizes blood sugar!
